Annoying French Road Regulations.

Just found out yesterday that we need a warning triangle, reflective vests and headlamp converters to drive in Europe. This alone is inconvenient enough, but the French have to go the extra mile.

In France, you also need a set of light bulbs AND a breathalyser in your car. And of course because we have to drive through France to get to Italy, we have to pay extra to buy all this junk.

  1. Hi, Sophie and Parth, you shouldn't be worried about the breathalyser. If you don't have one , you'll get a warning, that's all. Do you know that you need orange-coloured or neon safety jackets on motorways ? Italian police can be very stressful and nerving. And the penalty fees are enormously high ! So don't forget about these jackets !
I wish you a safe and convenient trip through France and Italy. Lucca is a wonderful town, there's probably no better place in Europe to get married ! Congratulations !

  2. Hi Uncle Ebi!
Thank you so much. I checked before we left and made sure we have all the legal requirements before we left. Parth is much more laid back about these things but I've made sure we are prepared.

    Hope you are all well
    Sophie
