To all our loved ones, we are well. It has been one hell of a bloody nightmare these last two days, but I have had an Emergency Passport issued and we are on our way to Tuscany again.

Wow the last two days have been so crazy. We really thought we'd just have to drive back home. What a relief we can continue on to Italy and should still be able to get married! Thank you so much for your prayers.

ReplyDeleteAs we are writing this, you are most likely tucked up in bed fast asleep and resting from the trials of these last 2 days. I spent some time in your house with Hugo, who tried to convince me that dry food was not good enough for an important cat like himself..In the end I left him with a bowl of water and one of the very morsels. He did eat some, so he must have been hungry!;-) How is Avallon? We did a bit of Wikipedia on it. Another 'Notre Dame' and lots of other interesting bits which have already dropped out of my memory. Must read it again. Tomorrow (today) is another day to explore ..... BIG HUGS from us :-)
